Trust and realism
No quick miracle cures. The approach requires effort and attention, and is designed to produce sustainable results.Helping people and organisations create noble outcomes through thinking, deciding, and interacting
Starting from the body and informed by principles from aikido, communication doctor Greet develops communication training and strategic diagnostics for collaboration and leadership in today's organisations. Her work develops transferable skills recognised as essential by the OECD, including:
Engaging with Others | Collaboration | Open-Mindedness | Self-Management | Emotion Regulation.
These transferable skills correspond to the five key domains identified by the OECD and are addressed through structured, practice-based learning.
Employees, employers, and entrepreneurs in Benelux and Germany have engaged Greet Angèle De Baets since 2002 for training and advisory work. Her approach translates communication challenges into concrete, workable practice. Her work is built around two practical frameworks: the Aikido Interaction Model, which helps people interact more effectively under pressure, and the Decision Articulation Model, which helps people clarify thinking before communicating and deciding. Together, they underpin training with body, keynotes with backbone, and strategy with a measured hand.
Academic grounding and professional practice
After more than two decades of international practice, she completed a doctorate at Ghent University in 2024 on aikido-inspired and embodied communication training, refining the practical frameworks that form the foundation of her work. As a communication doctor, she works with leaders, teams, and professionals who seek clarity, constructive interaction, and courage in complex or high-stakes contexts.
Retreats in the Dojo-Haus
The Dojo-Haus in the Belgian Eifel near St. Vith offers space for residential learning, reflection, and practice. Away from everyday routines, participants immerse themselves in the aikido interaction model, the decision articulation model, or other topics through retreats, team development, and writing seminars.
